Machine control expert ready to speak "sewage"
It's no wonder the Komatsu PC20R-5 is a very popular mini excavator on sewer jobs. It weighs two tons, making it ideal for trailering between multiple job sites.
Several machinery companies are ready to offer a chat about machinery, equipment and materials when the Sewage Fair 2026 opens with 180 exhibitors in Messe C in Fredericia on Thursday 29th and Friday 30th January. For many of the sales people at the stands, it will be a challenge to get on eye level with the guests when there is really professional talk during the visits. But not with machine control expert Benjamin Stub at Scantruck. He is one of the sewer people's own.
"I'm an old plumber myself and a trained civil engineer, and I grew up with a father who was also in the industry. So I speak "sewer" quite well., says Benjamin Stub. Today, his everyday work involves sales and support in Scantruck's special department for Smart Construction. Here, it is largely about advanced Topcon equipment for sewer engineers, among others, who want the highest possible precision in their work. And that suits Benjamin Stub just fine with a few days of close contact with lots of equal, professional talk.

"My colleagues and I are coming to Fredericia with pipe lasers and GPS for quality assurance during surveying and marketing. In addition to lasers and GPS equipment, we have total stations. I am particularly looking forward to introducing the sewer masters and pipelayers to the new Hiper XR GPS Rover, which is Topcon's new surveying solution with 60 degrees of calibration-free tilt.", says Benjamin Stub.
