The drain queen shows the way forward

Inge Faldager talks about the new book, "Afløbsdroningen", which is about her and her career. For more than 40 years, she has taught sewer masters at Teknologisk, and helped make rules and circulars in the drainage area.

It is a "Drain Queen" with its finger on the pulse. The book and the article also show examples of innovative thinking within Local Drainage of Rainwater - LAR. The book's content also includes her active sporting career with more than 50 senior medals in Athletics, as well as a look back at Rome's sewers, which are still working 2.000 years after they were built.

Thursday at 11.00

LER's map index and new requirements for wiring information

What new requirements must the line owners comply with, and what new requirements are there for information about the location of the lines?

The presentation emphasizes a review of LER's map index, where Carina Rose Saxtorph from the Danish Agency for Data Supply and Infrastructure gets into the most nooks and crannies of the solution, and shows how to find your wiring information and attached attachments. There will be an opportunity to ask questions afterwards.

Downpours, cloudbursts and storm surges. Take responsibility for your climate footprint

We experience massive downpours, cloudbursts and storm surges these years. The extreme weather is happening more and more often due to climate change. The weather places new demands on our sewers, but also on companies taking responsibility for their own climate footprint and working proactively with a green transition. This also applies to the sewage industry.

The aim of the education is to prepare the young people for work at the small and medium-sized construction companies that call for qualified labour. Sebastian Skipper Ravn, chief consultant at DM&E provides information on the training, which has been made in collaboration between DM&E and Mercantec, and it covers both pipe laying, sewerage and machine operation.
